The two occasions were completely different. Although the cave was crowded for the solstice it was much more atmospheric. The summer solstice celebration [dia de la brujas] is usually on the nearest Saturday to 21 June, which should make it Saturday 18 June 2011. [By the way, there are lots of other celebrations in the area.
